Just explained the concept of the game “Snake” to my thirteen year old nephew who, of course, had never played it before. The idea that phones ever had anything but colour touch screens was also a bit of a novelty! “Back in MY day……” 😀

Microsoft’s answer to Siri and Google Now is officially named ‘Cortana’! Quite possibly the coolest decision I think they have ever made!

Election Day
Successfully made it past the hoard of people trying to give me how to vote cards unscathed – in and out in 5 minutes. By all accounts, a successful election day, I’d say.

Steady rain on the roof – one of my favourite sounds!
Spiders
7:56am… I’ve got to hand it to spiders – they are persistent little buggers. I just observed one attempting to scale the side of my shower. Despite a number of failed attempts it still hasn’t given up.
Potholes…
I understand why people want to avoid potholes, however it is NOT cool to head into the opposite lane with a car coming at you to do so. Come on, people… think – what’s going to hurt more?
