Part 2 (see part 1)
Pleased to say I made it to the end in the 2013 MS Sydney to the Gong Ride! Official Endomondo time was 4:33:50 which I was very happy with.
A big thank you to everyone who donated!

Together, we smashed my goal of $500 by raising $655 towards supporting people living with Multiple Sclerosis and ultimately finding a cure. Thank you! As I write, this event has raised $3,100,000 and my team raised nearly $13,000!
Special mention and thank you to James Madden and Colby Sloane for being excellent riding partners in the lead up to the event, James Madden again for transporting my bike to and from Sydney, and Liz Evenden for being there at the end with water and Mars Bar in hand!
Photos of me in tight bike clothing to arrive in the coming days – stay tuned…
Editor’s note – lycra photos were not forthcoming – to no one’s disappointment!
Part 1 – 29 Sept 2013
After a very (VERY) long time off of the bike, I will be joining my workmates at MBC Accounting along with some of our clients in participating in the 2013 MS Sydney to the Gong bike ride on Sunday 3rd November 2013. It is all in the name of supporting people living with Multiple Sclerosis, a disease affecting the central nervous system which presently has no cure. Most people are first diagnosed between 20 and 40 years of age, and 75% of those are women.
If you are so inclined, please consider a (tax deductible) donation towards the cause, otherwise wish me well as I attempt to make the distance!
My American friends – be aware that MS Australia will probably charge your credit card in Australian Dollars.
